I bought a Sweetfern plant when I saw it at the Seattle Arboretum because I loved those leaves and wanted to cast those sweet little fronds. They cast beautifully. This is not actually a fern, but a small shrub that is native to the eastern United States. The plant is thriving in my garden, so now I have an endless supply of these fern-like leaves.
