Pointed seed pods dangle from hinged sterling silver loops. The unusual shape of these earrings gives them an edgy appeal.

I collected these pods while out walking, and thus far, I haven’t been able to identify them! But I was incredibly drawn to their shape; they look like tiny hummingbirds to me!
 
The Woodland Collection celebrates the richness of life in the coastal forest that I frequent, and the thrill of discovering new plants that thrive in this climate. Since moving to the Washington coast, I’ve been taking daily walks through the woods, admiring the abundance of ferns, old growth cedars, and Douglas-firs.
