I love growing milkweed in my garden. Here’s a fun fact: milkweed is the only plant monarch caterpillars can eat, so it’s the only place where monarch butterflies will lay their eggs. Without milkweed, we’d have no monarch butterflies! 
 
I’ve left the flowers and the leaves for the butterflies, but it turns out that the milkweed seedpods themselves make unique, beautiful jewelry. I love the texture and dimension of these cast pod earrings.
