These earrings join treasures from two of my favorite places—the forest and the sea. Though the textures of the cedar and the stone couldn’t be more different, they both make me think of natural resilience. Cedars are hardy trees with strong anchoring roots that can live well over a thousand years. Beach stones get their touchable smoothness gradually as the ocean washes over them. Withstanding wind and water, they make an unlikely but fitting pair!
Each earring features two stacked beach stones and a cast sterling silver cedar sprig. I love how the intricate texture of the cedar branch contrasts the smoothness of the beach stones. When I wear them, I’m always happy for the reminder of natural strength.
These earrings pair perfectly with the cedar branch and beach stone necklace.
**Note: The beach stones may vary slightly in color from the ones you see here. They may come in various shades of green and black.
