When I pick this piece up out the tray - my thumb goes right into that sea urchin textured disk, and then I squeeze the time and weather worn elongated beach stone to quiet my thoughts. When worn, this necklace has movement in all directions as a result of the hooped hinge on the urchin dish and the hoops, hinges, and bails on the stone and spine. Visually exciting and soothing at the same time.
