Seed pods from a Melaleuca evergreen are cast in sterling silver and arranged to create this unique and delicate-looking (yet quite sturdy) bangle. 
 
Melaleucas belong to the myrtle family. They range from small shrubs to towering trees. Some of the more common varieties are paperbarks, honey myrtles, and tea trees. Most Melaleucas are aromatic and are an important food source for birds, mammals, and insects.
