Every once in a while I just pick up a rock that catches my eye and slide it into my pocket. It's not until much later, when the rock has made it's way to a tray in my studio, that I may notice how absolutely incredible a specimen is. This is one of those. It is kind of a light green, but has little reddish fronds that look kind of like feathery seaweed. I just love this one. To do it justice, I set this beach stone in a bezel and placed it atop a wrap ring of tree bark. A big statement of a ring that gets to the heart of the beauty that exists where the forest meets the sea.
