A large faceted rosecut prehnite stone is bezel-set and complemented with a Douglas-fir sprig cast in sterling silver. The stone has beautiful black lines within and it seems to glow. The ring is finished with a sterling silver band textured with a leaf pattern. Available in size 8.
Douglas-fir trees are everywhere in the Pacific Northwest. On the coast, they commonly live at least 500 years. They are often planted in reforestation efforts throughout the region—and for good reason, they’re hardy and lovely evergreens.
The Woodland Collection celebrates the richness of life in the coastal forest that I frequent, and the thrill of discovering new plants that thrive in this climate. Since moving to the Washington coast, I’ve been taking daily walks through the woods, admiring the abundance of ferns, old growth cedars, and Douglas-firs. And I’ve had so much fun adding plants to my garden that I’ve never been able to grow before. For me, this collection is about the joy of discovery—walking outside and looking around with curiosity and fresh eyes.
