Gorgeous rose-cut Hessonite garnets are bezel-set in sterling silver. Beneath the stones hang sprigs of cotoneaster cast in sterling silver.
I am in love with the rusty red color of these garnets. Hessonite garnet is sometimes called the “cinnamon stone,” and that richness of color really pops against the delicate cotoneaster leaves. Despite this delicateness, cotoneasters are incredibly hardy plants that play an important role in the ecosystem. They feed bees at times when there is little else for them to eat. Hummingbirds also love cotoneaster.
These earrings pair wonderfully with the Hessonite Garnet and Cotoneaster Necklace.
