Succulent seedpods are cast in sterling silver and hang from silver hoops. The delicate pod charms make these earrings particularly versatile and fun.

This pod comes from a succulent in my garden. Its wonderful crinkled texture is what inspired me to cast it.

The ReNew Collection:
Fall is the season for slowing down and taking stock. Here in Washington, my gardens are falling asleep for the winter, and in my studio, I find myself seeking inspiration from the past: objects from previous collections that are ready for a second life. This collection is a little different from most of my others; instead of collecting objects directly from beaches, forests, and gardens, I collected them from my own shelves. These cast botanicals and textures were calling to be revisited, reimagined, made new again. The spirit of the ReNew Collection can be summed up pretty well by a quote from Marcel Proust: “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but seeing with new eyes.” This fall, I am grateful for all the amazing pieces I’ve collected thus far, and for the infinite possibilities they still offer me.
